The “5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity”© is a methodology which enables you to tackle what’s most important every day. The five choices are:

  • Act on the important, don’t react to the urgent.
  • Go for the extraordinary, don’t settle for ordinary.
  • Schedule the big rocks, don’t sort gravel.
  • Rule your technology, don’t let it rule you.

Fuel your fire, don’t burn out.
These five choices, when consistently made, ensure that you will achieve extraordinary results in your work and life. This is available through private coaching or for intact teams

Leading at the Speed of Trust© is based on the book by Stephen M.R. Covey, son of the legendary author, Stephen Covey, which explains how to create a high-trust culture, leading to a “trust dividend”. The ability to improve trust in an organization is a skill that can be learned. In addition to the four cores of credibility: Integrity, Intent, Capability and Results, this class explores the thirteen behaviors which enhance trust, the opposites which destroy it and the counterfeit behaviors which masquerade as building, but, in fact, are equally capable of diminishing trust. This is available through private coaching or for intact teams.

Getting Things Done (GTD) is a methodology for “stress-free productivity”. GTD allows you to develop a “mind like water” which keeps you in control, relaxed, focused and meaningfully engaged. This is a methodology which follows the five natural steps of doing: Collect, Clarify, Organize, Reflect and Engage. It enables you to deal with all your projects – anything that takes more than one action to complete. Your mind is a great place for having ideas, not for holding onto them. Once you know what you are saying “no” to, you can properly focus on the task at hand clearing the way for an even higher level of creativity.

Evernote is an organizational system which is available across platforms (Windows, IOS, Android) for keeping track of everything. The system uses (digital) notebooks and then notes within them which can contain anything from text to documents to webpages and even audio recordings and photos. These notes and notebooks are synched across platforms so you always have your Evernote system with you wherever you are. Tags can be used to enable searching across notebooks as your collection grows. I offer coaching and training on how to use Evernote, no matter what productivity system you use.

This seminal work in personal development, “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” is based on Dr Covey’s extensive study of literature and based on timeless principles. The seven habits reveals a step-by-step pathway for living with fairness, integrity, service and human dignity — principles that give us the security to adapt to change and the wisdom and power to take advantage of the opportunities that change creates. They are:

  • Be Proactive,
  • Begin with the End in Mind,
  • Put First Things First,
  • Think Win-Win,
  • Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood,
  • Synergize,
  • Sharpen the Saw

All of the principles are easy to understand; the challenge is in the implementation. This is available through private coaching or for intact teams.

The “Four Disciplines of Execution” is a methodology to enable a team to move forward on a new initiative. Some changes can be implemented with the stroke of a pen, but behavior change is clearly the hardest type for a leader to instill in his or her organization. Why is it so hard? What usually happens? The “whirlwind” of urgent activity required to keep things running day-to-day devours all the time and energy you need to invest in executing your strategy for tomorrow. The 4 Disciplines of Execution can change all that forever. The 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX) is a simple, repeatable, and proven formula for executing on your most important strategic priorities in the midst of the whirlwind.
